Strategic Marketing Director - Database Marketing |
Position Description
- Define customer segments and prioritize to ensure the optimal allocation of marketing funds
- Develop and implement predictive data mining models to estimate patron lifetime value, churn probability and promotional response
- Prepare analysis and present these recommendations to senior management for execution
- Manage the customer database in terms of integrity, structure and security
- Work closely with in-house market intelligence group to explore drivers of patron behavior
- Lead a medium sized team of analysts and senior analysts to understand each segments decision journey
Position Requirement:
- Minimum of 5 years database marketing experience, preferably with an international company, strong experience writing SQL or SAS queries, pulling data from relational databases, creating databases, and working with other statistical analysis and data mining software a plus
- Background in marketing, especially in programs development and roll-out, will be an added advantage
- Strong business and marketing acumen, with capacity for original thoughts
- Proven ability to train, coach and mentor team members
