Job Responsibilities :-
- Maintains surveillance of maintenance activity at assigned stations. Provides resources and technical support as necessary in cases of major mechanical problems.
- Responsible for the timely repair of deferred maintenance items. Plans and assigns specific repairs to qualified personnel consistent with availability of materials and aircraft ground time.
- Responsible for timely return of correct and accurate Aircraft Log pages to HDQ.
- Coordinates with MCC for maintenance and aircraft status information. Maintains liaison with MCC for planning purposes and routing of aircraft with significant maintenance problems to stations where repairs can be effectively accomplished with minimum disruption to aircraft scheduled pattern.
- Monitors mechanical problems, Aircraft and Powerplant performance, Repeat Item and Oil Watch Programs. Formulates corrective action plans in coordination with MCC.
- Provides technical assistance, vendor invoice auditing and coordinates with operators with whom the Company has contractual obligations and/or maintenance agreements.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Regional/Station Manager of Maintenance.
Qualifications :-
- Must hold a current and valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- Must maintain Company required qualification and authorization for Airworthiness Release or other applicable qualifications.
- Documented and proven leadership abilities.
- Create and manage operational and capital budgets.
- 15 Years progressive management experience.
- Preferred candidate possess a business or aviation degree.
